Background removal

Upload a picture: we estimate the background colour from the edges (or you click a background pixel), then build a soft mask using colour distance (Lab ΔE). Everything runs in your browser — no image is sent to the server. Output is a PNG with transparency at the same width and height as your file. This is not AI: it works best on plain, even, or studio-style backgrounds; hair, glass, and busy scenes need a dedicated matting service.
